Inspired by Japan's
Visual Kei movement, Silver Ash is considered pioneers as the first visual rock band in China's rock industry. The band
formed in 2000, with their first single being astoundingly in demand, competing with full length album sales, and changing
the approach of Chinese rock industry's product release structure. Acclaimed for their vibrant, intensely thrilling
performances, they have performed alongside La'Cryma Christi, Rice, and Gram∞Maria. Despite challenges, the band
has returned with a new single “Reborn.”

Their music has a beautiful, flowing fluidity
about it, along with some hardcore rock and dark motifs, with lyrics that are a perfect compliment to the vibe. Songs
composed of heavy sounds and tenebrous patterns are paired with intense lyrics sung in English and Mandarin Chinese. Silver
Ash's influences and favorite artists include The Cure, Radiohead, Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, Rammstein, Red Hot Chili
Peppers, Suede, Oasis, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Excision, Rusko, and Skrillex.

Review of Silver Ash's song Reborn:
The ambient beginning creates an almost ethereal atmosphere,
that leads into the push of heavy electronic pulses, and the message, "I am now reborn, Now I'm back from hell." This
repetitive message of the piece is followed by the clear, serene sounds of the first verse. The progression in the middle
drives the piece forward in ascension to the second verse, and repeat with a hard hitting motif in the end. The repetitive
nature of this song creates a drive and momentum, that bring the listener into a journey through the song, almost as an adventure
in the mind. The adventure is focused onto the passion filled words that bear the song's messages.
The lyrics compliment the piece with poetic artistry,
that captivates the mind with an overall picture of power, destruction, and survival.
"Reborn" leaves the listener with an experience
of feeling part of the emotional vibe of the song, and having wandered on an agreeable, rewarding, dark adventure.
